Recorders - "21st Century Style" - only from Dewetron

Dewetron has reinvented the recorder. The built-in paper output device is gone, and instead you can use any Windows printer to make hard copies immediately after recording. Data are recorded direct to the internal hard disk. Dewetron instruments are full-fledged Windows computers, built on a rugged industrial-grade platform. Plug-in, modular signal conditioning is available for every signal, every sensor. A bright TFT display makes set-up, on-line viewing, and easy replay/analysis easier than ever.

One of the most powerful aspects of Dewetron instruments and recorders is their ability to also record VIDEO in sync with the data. We have several levels of video capability, starting with a simple webcam like you can buy at any computer store, and ranging up to standard NTSC inputs (even multiple cameras) and even our own much faster DEWE-CAM-01, which can record 240 full frames per second. If you plan to use a high-speed video system (i.e., thousands of frames per second), you can synchronize the AVI files from that video system into your Dewetron data file, so that all the data and video can be replayed in one environment, in perfect synchronization! Video is a great way to add documentation and a vital visual reference to the data.

In the short example above, we show recording video from a regular firewire webcam and an infra-red (IR) camera PLUS several data channels, simultaneously. This is a perfect example of the kinds of great recordings you can make with your Dewetron system, whether it's a portable one, or a laboratory instrument!

Dewetron offers products in a few different types, from portable grab-and-go systems to large scale lab systems with hundreds or even 1000+ channels. Here is an overview:

Portable recording instruments Portable systems are small but full-powered Dewetron solutions that are really going places. Grab-and-go Dewetron convenience combined with battery-power, AC, or DC power, at your option. Our unique hot-swappable batteries mean that you can” cut the cord" and take your Dewetron system with you wherever and whenever you like.
   
Laboratory systems are larger, and available in a variety of form factors, from desktop to rack-mounting. All Dewetron data acquisition systems which can capture not only analog inputs but also video, GPS, CAN BUS and more. Dewetron multifunction systems can replace a whole lab full of instruments
   
Dedicated function systems are versions of our multifunction systems that are made with a specific hardware and/or software configuration in order to convert them into a specialized instrument. These include DSA (dynamic signal analyzers), TR (transient recorders), CA (combustion analyzers), and more.
   
Portable recording instruments Dataloggers are available in two basic categories: SLOW SPEED and HIGH SPEED/DYNAMIC loggers. Slow speed loggers are compact and inexpensive models, with built-in color displays and storage to internal flash memory. High speed loggers feature embedded computer technology and DEWESoft acquisition software
   
Front-end systems move the computer to the outside of the box - and let you use your own notebook computer (or one of ours) for control, setup, and the actual storage of the data. Sometimes a notebook-based system makes more sense than an all-in-one solution, so we offer Dewetron systems in both configurations.
   
Power test systems are made for single-phase and three-phase power quality testing applications. Record and analyze power at any base frequency from milliHertz to 800 Hz, and still add any of the unique Dewetron capabilities - video, GPS, additional analog sensors, etc.
